June 17th, 1935 - March 31st, 2018
Glenda L. Brown, 82, went home to be with the Lord March 31, 2018. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Saturday April 7, 2018 at Main Street United Methodist Church with Pastor Dr. Claude Kayler and Rev. Rick Carter officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. A native of Davidson County, Glenda was the daughter of the late Northa Mae Carlton and Leonard Harrison Brown, Sr. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her brother Leonard Harrison Brown, Jr. Glenda retired from Kmart in Lexington and also had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter Lisa K. Bendt and Keith of Kernersville; grandchildren Maegan Bendt, Christin Bendt, and Keith Bendt, Jr.; brother Hulin Brown and Norma of Lexington; and several nieces and extended family. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the church on Saturday.
