Glenn L. Brueckner, of Milwaukee, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the age of 83 years. He was born on October 20, 1932, the son of Leo and Martha Brueckner. Glenn was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for General Mitchell International Airport for over 50 years. Glenn loved to spend his time fixing and restoring cars, performing in polka bands, and participating in Edsel Club where he won many awards. Glenn will be deeply missed by his daughter, Suzanne M. (Daniel) Bowman of Pewaukee, WI; son, James L. Brueckner of Johnstown, OH; and grandchildren, Sarah and Rebecca. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lloyd; and sister, Doris. The visitation for Glenn will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson, WI.
