Glenn Arthur Mattson

Glenn Arthur Mattson, 92, died October 13, 2010. He will be missed by family and friends, who appreciated his keen sense of humor and his passion for life. He was born in Oak Park Illinois and was the oldest of five boys. Glenn married Lillian Schnaidt in Hebron, ND, in July 1948. They moved to Seattle where they lived for 43 years and Olympia for 19 years. Glenn preceded in death by his brother Paul and his grandson Robert (Robbie). He is survived by his wife Lillian of 62 years, in Tacoma, brothers: Frank in Virginia, Ted in Oklahoma and David in Overland Park, Mo., sons: Robert of University Place, James of Lake Stevens, David of Arlington, Doug of Auburn and Wes of Federal Way; by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday October 30, 2010 at Westwood Baptist Church, 333 Kaiser Rd NW, Olympia, WA.
