Gloria M. (Ryan) Antoniou March, 18, 1948 - October 16, 2022 of Santa Barbara, CA passed away on October 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving daughters Gloria was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late John and Joyce Ryan. She graduated from Lawrence High School in the 1960's and received her LPN and RN nursing certificates from Greater Lawrence Technical Institute. She recently retired from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Gloria loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren; both on the East and West coasts. She enjoyed spending time on the beach, whether it be in Hawaii, California or at Hampton Beach, NH. She was an avid dancer in all genres, from Ballroom to Hawaiian but most especially loved dancing to the music of the Rat Pack. One of her favorite memories was seeing the Rat Pack in concert with her husband and parents. She was also a huge fan of the musical arts and a frequent attendee of the local music scene. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Kimberley (Bluemel) Dickson and her husband David of Salisbury, MA. Jeannine (Bluemel) Salazar and her husband Armondo of Santa Barbara, CA, Gloria’s siblings Lisa (Ryan) Mellilo, and Daniel Ryan. She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren, Connor Dickson, Tyler Green, Gavin Dickson, Laura Green, and Mason Green. She was predeceased by her husband Demos Antoniou. A Rosary Service was held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 7pm McDermott-Crockett & Associates Mortuary. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday October 27, 2022 at 10:30 AM at San Roque Catholic Church, 325 Argonne Circle, Santa Barbara, CA and burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 199 North Hope Ave. Santa Barbara, CA Memorial Donations in Gloria’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
