Gloria Alicia Baratta was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on June 8th, 1950 and passed away on November 23rd, 2012. Surviving is her husband, Ricardo Baratta; son, Leonardo Baratta; siblings, Liliana Graf and Ricardo Brack; in-laws, Norberto Graf and Nancy Brack, as well as three nephews and two nieces. Mrs. Gloria Baratta immigrated with her family to the United States in 1976 and lived more than 10 years in West Virginia before moving to Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Master's degree in Spanish, which led to her career in teaching at Rio Grande High School for more than 25 years. She was also the department chair of Modern Languages at the same school until the final moments of her life. Throughout her life she was involved in many leadership roles in the academic society. Gloria was also very involved in ministry as a church elder, women's ministry leader, youth leader, and Sabbath school teacher. Those who had the privilege of knowing Gloria were greatly impacted by her positive and caring attitude. She left an encouraging mark in the lives of those she touched. Her Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, December 2nd at 11 a.m. at the Albuquerque Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church on 4920 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque 87191. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, those who are interested may make a donation in her honor to the North Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church building fund. Gloria Alicia Brack de Baratta nació en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina el 8 de Junio de 1950 y falleció el 23 de Noviembre del 2012.Le sobreviven su Esposo Ricardo Baratta, hijo Leonard Baratta, hermanos Liliana Brack de Graf y Ricardo Brack ; cuñados Norberto Graf y Nancy Diez de Brack; tres sobrinos y 2 sobrinas. La Señora Gloria Baratta emigró con su familia a los Estados Unidos en el año 1976 y vivió por más de 10 años en West Virginia para luego mudarse a Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Se graduó de la Universidad de New Mexico con una Maestría en Español para luego enseñar en la Escuela Preparatoria de Rio Grande por más de 25 años. Al momento de su deceso ella también se desempeñaba como jefa del departamento de Lenguas Modernas en la misma escuela preparatoria donde enseñaba. Durante su vida ella también desempeñó muchas actividades de liderazgo en el ambiente eclesiástico. Fue Anciana de Iglesia, líder del Ministerio de la Mujer, Líder de Jóvenes e Instructora Bíblica. Su trayectoria por esta vida ha dejado profundas huellas de gratitud en aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Los servicios en su memoria se realizarán el domingo 2 de diciembre a las 11 de la mañana en: Albuquerque Heights SDA Church. 4920 Wyoming Blvd NE.
