Gloria was born December 23, 1950, in Romeo, Colorado. She went to heaven on October 3, 2024.
Gloria graduated from Palmer High School in 1969.
She is preceded in death by her father, Guillermo Mares; mother, Flora Mares; and brother, Willie Mares.
Gloria leaves behind her children, Eilene Mares, Angelica Mersereau (Andrew), Pete Carrasco (Alyssa), and Orlando Carrasco (Shannon). Her grandchildren, Angelo mares, Adeline Montoya, Ayana Mersereau, Azuriah Mersereau, Avian Mersereau, Jai’lyn Earp, Gianni Carrasco, Gabriel Carrasco, Genesis Carrasco. Mila Carrasco, and Masceso Carrasco; great-grandson, Xzavien Frazier; sisters and brother, Rubina Balderrama (Lencho), Robert, Mares, Carol Miranda (Jose), and Angela Mares (Tiffany).
A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00AM, Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Vanguard Church located 3950 North Academy Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The family will have a private burial.
