Gloria "Victor" Blondine Wurtz
September 26th, 1938 - October 29th, 2012
Gloria Blondine Victor Wurtz passed away October 29, 2012 at Complex Care Hospital in Meridian, ID due to complications from a brain aneurysm suffered August 30, 2012. Gloria was born September 26, 1938 in La Grande, OR, to L.R. Victor and Lea Eaton Victor. She married Lester H. Wurtz on July 23, 1957 in Winnemucca, NV. Gloria was a loving and devoted mother to four children. She worked at Birdseye and Carnation/Nestle, where she was a production supervisor and union representative--a position she was proud to hold--until her retirement in 2000. Gloria was an avid book reader and crossword puzzle solver! She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Anyone who had the opportunity to spend time with Gloria enjoyed her wit and humor, along with her electrifying personality. She will be missed by all those who loved and knew her. Gloria is survived by her husband, Lester Wurtz of Nampa; her children Gina & Monte Rush, Traci & Kurt Brock, Brant & Tonianne Wurtz, all of Nampa, and Kim Stephens of Zephyrhills, Florida; grandchildren Caleb Gentry, Dana Riggle, Tanner Brock, Brook Bayes, Amanda Brock, Jared Massee, Tucker Brock, Brennan and Tristan Wurtz, and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Jim Victor and her sister Jackie Hiaring, both of Boise, and multiple nieces and nephews. Services are under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel Caldwell, ID, with graveside services Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 1:00PM at Meridian Cemetery 895 E. Franklin Road, Meridian, ID.
