Glynn Edward Johnson

Mr. Glynn Edward Johnson, age 78, a resident of Lake Alfred, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at Winter Haven Hospital. Mr. Johnson was born June 11, 1937, in Sandersville, GA, to Edward Stephen and Lizzie Ellen (Parrish) Johnson. Glynn was a Lake Alfred resident for the past 30 years coming from Hudson. He retired after 25 years from MacAsphalt as a road construction superintendent and also retired after 20 years from WL Cobb Construction. He was a member of the Winter Haven Moose Lodge and enjoyed being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; gt granddaughter-Skyler DeJarnette; brother-Everett and sister-Margaret. Glynn is survived by son: Mike (Doreen) Johnson of Orlando, FL, 2 daughters: Cindy (Marc) Scheiner of Davie, FL, Gwen (Dave) Smith of Alto, GA, brother: Gene Johnson of Mitchell, GA, 4 sisters: Eunice Wilcher of Gibson, GA, Mattie Ann Price of Claxton, GA, Ollie Mae Cooper of Mitchell, GA, Geneva Kitchens of Gibson, GA, 6 grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Eric, Sara, Donnie & Justin, 3 gt grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in GA.
