Godfrey Warren Moffitt

August 7th, 1946 - April 11th, 2012

Godfrey Warren Moffitt, age 65, of Arvada, CO, passed away, April 11, 2012. Godfrey was born in Rhode Island and a retired Staff Sargent in the US Army member of the American Legion Post #161 in Arvada, CO. He was also medically retired from the US Postal Services. He was the son of the late William and Harriet Moffitt. He is survived by his loving wife Elaine; daughters Debra Unruh and Barbara (Daniel) Zilich; son Timothy (Kim) Unruh; grandchildren Jeremy Matthews, Desire (Nicholas) Zilich - Scariato and Daniel (Kate) Zilich; great grandchildren Landon Zilich, Issabella Zilich, Nickoli Scariato, K-Lana Zilich and Riley Zilich; sisters Amelia (Bill) Tripp and Martha Moffitt; aunt's Pauline Hollenworth and Lillian De Ascentis; many nieces, nephews and cousins; Preceded in death by siblings Betsy, Mike, Bill, John and baby Charles. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to E. Elaine Moffitt C/O Aspen Mortuary of Arvada, 6370 Union Street, Arvada, CO.
