Goldie Mae Stanton, 88, of Plymouth, CA, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was born in Clare, MI on January 26, 1929 to the late Mary Jane and Israel Collins. Goldie is survived by her son and daughters, Bobby Stanton and Brenda Stanton, of Plymouth, CA, and Selene Moore, of Coleman, MI; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her daughter, Tamara Stanton; son, Alan Stanton; and her husband, Robert Stanton. Goldie Mae was a full-blooded Ojibwe woman, and was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. She was loved, honored, and cherished as our sacred matriarch. If there were one word or action she lived by it was love. Goldie gave all of her children the gift of life. She was loved and treasured by everyone whose lives she touched. Friends are invited to attend services at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson, CA at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 13, 2018.
