Gordon "Dale" Lundin

Dale, age 70, passed away December 5, 2017at his home in Orting, Washington. He was born in Tacoma, Washington, to Gordon B. and Dorothy M. (Hall) Lundin. He grew up in the Sumner and Puyallup area, graduating from Sumner High School with the Class of 1965. He married Sue McMillen on December 30, 1967 in Puyallup, Washington. Dale was a landscape supervisor, and retired from Weidner Investment Company. He had many hobbies and interests in his lifetime, including collecting antiques, repairing watches, landscaping, and fishing. He also loved the outdoors, and spending time with his family. Dale will be remembered as a storyteller, jokester, and a kindred spirit with a big sense of humor. He loved his wooded Carbon River home in Orting and enjoyed the simple happiness found in everyday life amongst his family and friends. Surviving are his sons, David R. Lundin of Kirkland, Washington, and Todd D. Lundin of Orting, Washington; daughter, Kimberley S. Wolfe of Naches, Washington. He is also survived by his daughters-in-law, Jennifer Lundin, Kaye Lundin; son-in-law Eric Wolfe; brothers-in-law, Roger Magnuson, John Lashua, Don Hall; sisters-in-law, Laura Lashua and Linda Hall; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; aunt, B.J. Hall; and many special cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Lundin (June 2006); parents; sister, Linda Magnuson; and brother, David Hall.
