My dear aunt Ruth Ellen as I knew her. I have so many fond memories of her when I was growing up.  The first memory that pops into my mind is her always having home made butter.  She was a woman of God,  artist of many subjects, good cook, and a loving aunt. 
I hadn't seen her in many years but thought of her often, peace be with you, you can now walk the streets of gold with Jesus without pain!

What a wonderful lady , so kind and so sweet , picture in your mind the characteristics of a perfect grandmother that was her . She was so loving, fun had a great sense of humor also she was extremely talented with her hands she could sew anything and loved to make things for others she was generous and always seemed to be happy I don't think she even knew how to be mad or upset . As a kid she was my favorite person to be with , I remember when I was real young that she was more than a grandmother she was 1 of my very 1st best friends. I will always cherish my memories of her and I'm so grateful that she was my grandma fluhr

I will sure miss my beautiful mother in law. She was the definition of kindness, an example of everything that is good. Until we meet again. Love you mom. Michel

When I think of Grandma Fluhr I think of her sweetness-and her amazing collection of miniatures. She's the only person I've met who loves tiny things more than me. I will treasure the beautiful pieces I was lucky enough to receive from her. I never heard this sweet woman speak bad about anyone or saw her angry. She's good and kind to the core. Cindy always gave me good avice plus loved her fresh veggies and fresh Fruits from her Garden. Going to miss them and her. She was a brave woman. R I P miss Cindy.

I didn't know Cindy for long but I didn't need to to feel the love she was allowing to flow out of her soul. She always had a smile to share , and an encouraging word or two. She touched my heart and She will be always there with me.

I'm going to miss Cindy so much. This sounds selfish but one of my thoughts when she passed was who am I going to go to for advice. Every time I needed help with my rt , with my kids , or just with my job in general I went to Cindy. I have no one to go to now. She always told me what I needed to do. Even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear and she would check up on me to make sure I did what she told me to. She cared about all of us. She gave me many gifts but one gift was a animal print sunglasses case. I told her Cindy I would never buy this for my self why would you buy me this. She told me there is a wild side inside you. It's my favorite case. I use it for everything.

Will be so missed. Always enjoyed seeing what she was going to bring in to share. 
Cindy was always up beat and enjoyed her kids and bus driving. Such an emptiness at work without our Cindy.

John was the best man I have ever known.  He always knew what was right and he never took the easy way out. He made everyone better.  He loved so fiercely and was loyal.  The world lost a great man.    Thank you John for sharing just a bit with all of us.  You will never be forgotten.  You will always be my brother and I love you. 

I love you uncle John.  You always made me laugh and smile and some of my favorite memories are with you and all the places we went on vacations. You talked to me through some really tough times and I knew I could always count on you.
I will miss you always.  Love you niece Laura.

John always was telling a joke,  playing a joke or being the life of the party.  You never left a room with John in it without a smile on your face. He was kindhearted and touched so many lives.  A kid at heart.

John is reunited now with Mom,  Dad,  Gran & PA. A loving son and grandson

John loved his furbabies. Cats in later years,  dogs in earlier years.  Animals always were important in his life. 

John Kearns ... Sup Sis is something that he would always say to me. My mind is trying to wrap around what has transpired.  You were such a presence in my life.  You danced with me at my wedding filling the void of not having a father/daughter dance.  We instead had a brother sister dance where I chose the song "lean on me". I knew I could always lean on you and you'd be there for me.  You'd say "don't worry,  I got you".
Your brother in law Matt Talbot and you always cracking the jokes, sometimes leaving me gobsmacked at your silliness when you got together. You leave behind two nephews,  Thomas and Danny and a niece Laura who loved their Uncle beyond measure, and they know just how proud you are of them. 
Honestly I'm struggling. You were looking forward to having a new lease on life with the surgery. Being here in Florida and having the time we spent before surgery was such a blessing. I'm thankful I got to see you one last time. The surgical team tried for 15 hours to keep you earth side. In the end the cards weren't in our favor.  You went peacefully, for that I'm grateful. I'm here helping Justine Decker Kearns just as you would want. It's so incredibly hard but we have each other.  
My message to you brother:
John,  
I always looked up to you. 
I always could count on you. 
I always knew you had my back.
I always knew that you were here for me. 
It saddens me and breaks my heart to know that you're no longer here. This wasn't supposed to be this way. 
I love you brother and I appreciated every minute we had growing up and all the time we had together. 
Please give Mom,  Dad,  Gran and Pa a big hug for me.   Say hello to all of the furbabies.

Great times that will be very happily remembered! 


With a very heavy heart, I have lost my dearest lifelong friend! We have had the best of times and the worst of times together but we always had each other and for that I am truly grateful. We used to always say how we were partners in crime and were always there for each other. I am truly blessed to have had a friend like this that was actually much more than that. He was a brother! So many great memories from kindergarten to now. 
John and I both were extensions of his family and mine and loved having that connection throughout life. There are so many things I can say or remember but that would simply take volumes to cover!
There isn't really any words that describe the depth of the loss of him passing for myself and all of us who knew him well. Just simply that we will MISS him a LOT! I am glad he didn't suffer and is in heaven with his family and mine. Love you sooooooo much my brother! See you in the future! God Bless!
