Grace Elizabeth Engeldinger

Grace E. Engeldinger, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born on November 5, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of James and Viola Kub. She was a longtime member of St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha. Grace was an avid Green Bay Packers, Brewers, and Wisconsin Badger fan. She enjoyed knitting, reading, embroidery, and was a world-wide traveler. Grace cherished her time at Brookfield Highlands Senior Apartments and enjoyed her card and knitting clubs where she made so many good friends. She loved her casino excursions with her sister, daughters, and daughters-in-law. Most of all, Grace loved spending time with her family. Grace will be deeply missed by her children, Eileen (Victor) ILL, Denis (Judy) Engeldinger, Mary (Keith) Steinbrecher, Janis (Tom) Briggs, Robert Engeldinger, Lauren (David) Spieth, Beth (Bill) Hunn, and Tim (Megan) Engeldinger; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Anna Lou (Clarence) Matuszek and nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane; grandchildren, Jody and Michael Engeldinger; and sisters, Patricia Kosz and Joan Tegtmeier; mother-in-law, Rose Engeldinger; and sister-in-law, Kathy Engeldinger. The visitation for Grace will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
