Grace E. McGuire
August 11th, 1923 - May 21st, 2019
Grace E. McGuire, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2019 at the age of 95. She was born on August 11, 1923 to Ernest and Ida (nee Tymnick) Hunkins. She married her husband, Bernard on August 10, 1945. Grace loved the outdoors. She enjoyed golfing, boating, and walking. She was very active in water aerobics at the YMCA. Grace also enjoyed playing cards with the card club she was a part of. Most of all, Grace treasured the time spent with her family. Grace will be deeply missed by her children: Michael (Nancy) McGuire and Patricia (David) Carpenter; grandchildren: Jay (RyanAnn) Carpenter, Heather (Joseph) McKendry, and Chelsea (Raphael) Garnica; a great grandson: Malix McKendry; siblings: Margaret (John Chapman), Ernie (Kathleen) Hunkins, and Ken Hunkins; brothers-in-law: Buster T. and John W. as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson: Christopher Carpenter, granddaughter: Jamie McGuire, sisters: Dorothy, Garney, Ilamae, and Marlene and brother: Marlin. The family would like to thank the staff at Vitas Hospice Care and Oak Hill Terrace for their loving care of Grace. The visitation for Grace will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 9:30am until the time of the service at 11:00am at Cesarz, Charapata, & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd Waukesha, WI 53188. Entombment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 330 S. Executive Dr. # 100-A, Brookfield, WI 53005.
