Graciela Flores Arias

Graciela Arias Barriga, 78, passed away April 17,2024 at a local hospital. She was born in La Presa, Michoacan on July 25, 1945 to Aurelio Flores, and Maria de Jesus Barriga. She married Ignacio Arias who has been her companion for 63 years. She worked in the fields for many summers and looked forward to the winter months as they would travel home to Mexico. She retired when her health declined. Fortunately, her last visit to Mexico was last April. She loved flowers and always looked forward to spring and summer time as she received many flowerpot arrangements from her children. She enjoyed food and loved going out to eat to the “China Buffet”, which was her favorite. She was a strong woman and fought to the end. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister. She is survived by her husband, brother, sister, her 8 children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I love you and I’ll miss you forever, mom.
