Grayson Charles Davis

"Palmer, Grayson C. Davis of Pearl St. died Wednesday at Park View Specialty Hospital in Springfield. Born on January 17, 1922, he was the son of the late Joseph W. and Ella A. (Hagan) Davis. He has lived in Palmer since 1942, previously living in Winter Garden, FL. Grayson worked at Monsanto for 42 years. He was the founder and owner of Davis Refrigeration in Palmer, which was established 47 years ago. He leaves three sons, Gary and his wife of Three Rivers, Russell and his wife of Farfax, Virginia, and Daniel of Palmer. He also is survived by one sister, Lucille Stevenson of Winter Garden, FL as well as six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He also leaves longtime, loving friend, Virginia Miller of Monson. A funeral service will be held on Monday at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. "
