Gregory G. Conrad, 35, of Otsego Street, Canajoharie passed away Tuesday, April 1st , 2008 after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Amsterdam, NY on October 19, 1972 he was the son of Dennes Conrad and Penny Brown Conrad. A lifelong resident, he was a 1991 graduate of Canajoharie High School. Greg was most recently employed for JJP Slipforming Inc. and was a member of the Labors Union in Schenectady. He was a member of the Boiling Pot Eagles and the "Construction" Bowling League. Greg was a sports enthusiast who loved the NY Mets, the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR. He also served for a brief time with the United States Navy. His loving family includes his parents; one sister, Tracy Stadel and her husband John of Schuylerville, NY; two nieces Megan and Kelly Stadel; grandparents, Milo and Edith Brown of St. Johnsville, NY; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 5th, 2008 at 11 o'clock at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317 with the Rev. Wayne Cole presiding. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Sandflats, Fonda. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 4 until 8 Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Mid- County Ambulance Corps. or to the Canajoharie Volunteer Fire Department.
