Gregory "Gregg" James Drezdon

Gregory (Gregg) James Drezdon was born October 2, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and died August 16, 2023. Born to George and Irene (Mikolojizak) Drezdon. He graduated from Don Bosco High School in 1961 and Maquette University in 1965, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Administration degree. He married Nancy Kaus early in 1973, and later that year they moved to Tucson, Arizona in search of a warmer climate. They were fortunate to celebrate 50 years of love and marriage earlier this year. Gregg was owner and broker of Banner Realty from the 1970’s up until his retirement in 2005. One of his proudest endeavors was as a Charter Member of the Tucson East Elks Lodge #2532, where over the years he held roles of Exalted Ruler and Chairman of the Trustees and managed the bingo and pull tabs fundraisers for over a decade. He cherished the lifelong friendships he made through that organization as they worked together to inspire the Elks principles of charity, justice, brotherly love, fidelity, and belief in God. Preceded in death by his parents; stepfathers Erv Sobczak and Erv Kazik; brothers-in-law Ralph Gabourie, Larry Kaus, Joseph Jarecki Sr., Jerry Gard, and Bentley Clark; and sister-in-law Elaine (Kaus) Gard. He will continue to be loved and cherished by his wife Nancy; daughter Karen (Jamie) Gabb; son Kurt (Candace) Drezdon; sisters Nancy Gabourie and Janice (Bob) Urman; grandchildren Ben, Noah, and Roman Drezdon and Max, Adam, and Daisy Gabb; sisters-in-law Joanne Kaus, Donna (Francis) Slusarski, Marilyn Jarecki, and Judy (Mike) Berning; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Gregg on September 2, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Francis de Sales Parish, 1375 S Camino Seco, Tucson, Arizona 85710, followed by Elks Ritual of Memorial Service at Tucson East Elks Lodge #2532, 615 S Pantano Road, Tucson, Arizona 85710. Inurnment ceremony will occur on September 5, 2023 at 9:00am at All Faiths Memorial Park, 2151 S Avenida Los Reyes, Tucson, Arizona 85748.
