Gregory Allan Faust

Gregory "Greg" Allan Faust of Pioneer, CA, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the age of 54. He was born in Pomona, CA on December 28, 1960 to the late Clifford and Flora (Scherer) Faust. Greg graduated from Paso Robles High School in 1979 and attended Cuesta College and Concordia Lutheran College where he met his future wife, Karen. The couple was married in Sacramento, CA. Greg worked as a correctional officer for 23 years and associate pastor of Amador Family Fellowship Church in Pioneer for 11 years. He enjoyed baseball, Disneyland, and making people laugh. His strong faith and hope in the Lord was evident especially as he battled many months of cancer treatment. He was a loving husband and family man. He will be greatly missed. Greg is survived by his wife of 33 years, Karen Faust of Pioneer; daughter, Megan Jackson (Joe) of Jackson, CA; sons, Jacob Faust, Nick Faust (Lanie); grandchildren, Logan and Cole, all of Pioneer, CA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clifford Faust, Jr. and sister, Cindy. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on April 12, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. at The Call Church, 18400 Ridge Road, Pine Grove, CA.
