Gregory Scott Richardson

Gregory Scott Richardson, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Bear Valley on Dec. 19, 2023 with his family by his side. His father, Gary Richardson, his mother Evelyn Colarelli, and his brother Steven Richardson preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Demestrina, his son Zachary Richardson, son Brian Richardson (Rebecca), stepdaughters Esther Diaz (Pedro) and Nana, grandchildren Hayley Richardson, Hunter Byram, and Serena Byram. Greg was born in Southern California but spent most of his life in Denver, Colorado attending John F. Kennedy High School from 1966-1969 where he would meet his first wife, Patricia. Many years later, a chance meeting at a restaurant in the Dominican Republic led him to court and marry his second wife, Demestrina. He lived and worked there for 8 years after which time he brought his wife and stepdaughters to the U.S. and helped them gain citizenship. He is a revered figure to his many family members and friends in the Dominican Republic. The majority of Greg's working career was spent as a custom home builder and remodeling contractor. Many of his clients and business associates became close personal friends, something that Greg always prided himself on. Greg's love of music, his energy, his love for travel and love of family is unmatched and his energy and sense of humor will be greatly missed. A memorial service for Gregory will be held at Pinehurst Country Club on February 10th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the morning. Please RSVP to Brian Richardson at 720-289-7242.
