Guadalupe Cardenas

Guadalupe Cardenas, 76, of Eaton, passed away on December 6, 2020 in Greeley, Colorado. She was born to Marcelo and Benita (Borjas) Zavala on November 18, 1944 in Mexico. Guadalupe will be remembered by most for her giving and loving nature. Her smile and presence were contagious to others. She was known around her town for her amazing burritos that she would share with others. Guadalupe loved to cook and bake cakes and shared with whomever came into her home. She enjoyed having her family and friends in her home for get togethers. She loved going out to eat and shopping. She was a very organized and meticulous woman and loved having a clean home. Above all, she loved her Catholic faith and adored her family. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. She was survived by her children, Gerardo (Iduvijes) Cardenas, Guadalupe (Mark) Zamora, Cecilia Palacios (Guadalupe Herrera) and Adriana Rincon (Narciso Rincon-Martinez); 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Juan Jose Zavala and Mario Alejandro Zavala. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her husband, Crescencio Cardenas, daughter, Elisa Cardenas; and siblings, Martha, Manuel and Fidencio Zavala. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in Guadalupe’s name can be made out to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80634.
