Mr. Günther Reuter age 79, died on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital/Novant Health in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Reuter was born in the Hague, Netherlands son of the late Bruno Fritz Reuter and Wilhemine Nortrup Reuter. He was a former resident of Chicago. Mr. Reuter was a Master Violin Maker who was a highly skilled craftsman. He created much beauty with his hands. He is the beloved husband for 46 years of Marcia Puerto Reuter of Charlotte,NC; devoted father of Dr. Robert Reuter and his wife Brenda of Charlotte, NC and Rebecca Francesca Reuter of Seattle, Washington. Loving Grandfather of Max Reuter and Livia Reuter both of Charlotte, NC. Günther is also survived by his sister Renata and her family as well as the family of his older brother, Fritz, who passed away earlier this year. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life with memories and stories on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 5:30PM to 7:00PM at his visitation at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203. Interment will be private. Contributions in Günther's memory may be made to The Charlotte Symphony, 301 South Tryon St., Suite 1700, Charlotte, NC 28282 or any other Musical Organization of the donor's choice. http://www.charlottesymphony.org/
