Gurmit Kaur, 81, of Yuba City, passed away March 1, 2022, at home in Yuba City. She was born March 12, 1940, in Punjab, India. Gurmit migrated to the United States in October of 1968, and resided in the Yuba Sutter area. She lived there for the remainder of her life with her four children: Jagiro Samra, Piarra Bhandal, Gurbonso Singh and Nirmal Bhandal, and their spouses. She leaves behind 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband, Charan Singh. Gurmit will be loved and missed by all. Service will be Sunday, March 6, 2022, 11am at Ullrey Memorial Chapel followed by prayer at the Tierra Buena Sikh Temple in Yuba City.
