Guy Henry Tallmadge

Guy Henry Tallmadge passed peacefully May 19, 2015 following a long illness. Guy was born in Tacoma to Fern and Burdett Tallmadge. He married his best friend and soul mate Pamela Elaine. Guy and Pam were married over thirty four wonderful years. On their 25th anniversary Guy asked Pam to renew their wedding vows in Reno, NV. Guy drove semi-truck most of his life up until his early medical retirement from Nalleys Fine Foods. Guy was a dedicated family man. The first time he became a Grandfather he had a new glow about him and with each new grandbaby added an even bigger glow. Another loves of Guys life was restoring his 1972 Dodge Dart, which was his fathers car. He enjoyed taking it to car shows. He won many 1st Place awards and best in show. Guy loved playing his drums. His favorite jam was Phil Collins In the Air Tonight or just about any classic rock 1970 era. Guy also enjoyed watching his favorite NFL team the Denver Broncos play. We never could understand where the love of the Broncos came into play when he was born and raised in WA. It did make for some family timefun when it was time forthe Sunday Football gamehaggling. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Andie and Connie and brother Lynn. He sadly leaves behind his loving wife and best friend Pam, son Cary (Kashia), daughters Roxann and Elyse, six (6) grandchildren: Michael, Sonya, Brook, Colby, Savenna, AnnElyse, special Aunt Shirley and special niece Carrie and family. Guy made friends easily and if you met him you would never forget him because of his sense of humor, and infectious laugh which were definitely one of a kind. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and others who were fortunate to have known him. Guy was loved by all. Grief never ends., but it changes. Its a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness or a lack of faith., It is the price of Love. A potluck Celebration of Life for Guy Tallmadge will be held on June 6, 2015 2pm-5pm @ Meridian Habitat Park & Community Center 14422 Meridian ESouth Hill Puyallup WA Please bring your favorite dish or a dish that Guy liked you to make. *We encourage you to drive your classic hot rod or motorcycle.
