WOODS, Guy T., Sr., 53 of Lutz, Florida passed away Sunday, June 20, 2014. Guy was born in Queens, New York and moved to Florida in 1991. He served in the United States Navy. He was an Electrical Engineer in the construction field. Guy had a kind heart and liked to help others, especially families in need. He was a skilled carpenter who could build or fix anything. He also enjoyed writing poetry. Guy is survived by his sons, Guy S. and Wesley; daughters, Emily and Heather; mother, “Miss Rita”; father, Paul; brother, Errol; sister, Leslie; girlfriend, Rose and one grandson. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Temple Elijah Church in Land O’ Lakes. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Loyless Funeral Home. Donations may be made in Guy's memory to Daughters of The King.
