Gwin Yvonne Curvin - Hopkins - Services for Gwin Y Curvin, 64, of Hopkins, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family. Ms. Curvin passed away February 22, 2018. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Woodrow Phillips and Cullens Carter Phillips. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a licensed cosmetologist, and a natural artist with hair styles. Gwin is survived by her son, Larry Phillip "Joe" Curvin (Melissa) of West Columbia; sister, Karen Watkins (Bobby) of Hopkins; brother, Mark Phillips (BJ), of Swansea; many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Ada Stewart for her loving care and attention to Gwin during her illness.
