Hal Gaddy Ross
May 24th, 1941 - July 31st, 2023
Mr. Hal Gaddy Ross of Mint Hill NC passed peacefully in the Harris Hospice Unit of Novant Presbyterian Hospital on July 31st at 8:58 am. Hal was born in Mint Hill on May 24th, 1941 and was the 23rd child of the late Sandy Caswell Ross. Hal operated his own business Ross Acoustical and Flooring for many years. He enjoyed Bee keeping and bailing hay as hobbies.Hal was predeceased by his parents Sandy Caswell Ross and Rosalind Gaddy Ross of Mint Hill as well as many brothers and sisters. Survivors include his three sons, Richard Hal Ross of Polkton, NC, Randy Baxter Ross of Stanfield, NC, and Rodney Wayne Ross of Mint Hill, NC. Hal has 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Surviving siblings include Ellie Black of Clemson, SC, Sue Howell of Charlotte, NC, Jean Greene of Monroe, NC, Betsey Bledsoe of Columbia, SC and Anne King of Georgetown, SC.
