Obituary for: Hallie M. Williams Hallie M. Williams, age 88, of Alva, passed away April 1, 2010 in Cape Coral. She was born Apr. 8, 1921 in Hillsborough County, Florida to the late Alfred Driggers and the late Lilly Thelma (Surgnier) Driggers. Hallie was a resident of Alva for the past fifty-nine years. She worked as a food service worker at Alva Middle School for twenty-one years. Survivors include her sons: Edward Walker, Dale Williams, step son, Arvin Williams, daughters, Edna Mae Whidden and Patty Allen, sisters: Eloise Grimes and Phyllis Jackson, grandchildren, Stethanie Ohliger, Robin Suarez, Angela Sanchez, Matthew Luckey, Rhonda McClure, Nichole Williams, Saige Walker, Trenton Williams and Jennifer Cammilleri, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Medford Williams and daughter, Sue Luckey. Funeral services will be held Wed. April 7, 2010, 10:00 am at First Baptist Church of Alva with Brother George Henderson Jr. and Brother Norman Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Alva Cemetery, Alva. Visitation will be Tuesday, Apr. 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
