BRIOSCHI, Harold Thomas August 31, 1927 – March 6, 2021 Passed away peacefully with his wife, Mariann and daughter, Deb, at his side. Preceded in death by his son, Father Tom; parents, Anna and Vladimir; and sister, Elaine. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Mariann (nee Cocchiarella); daughter, Debra and her husband Dan Tacheny. He was the proud grandpa to Jennifer (Ben), Craig (Jennie), Jessica (Jimmy), Jackie (Joe), and Neal (Lindsay); great grandpa to Jaydan, Jameson, Brooks, and Jalen. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy (Marv) Merle and brother, Gene (JoAnn); nieces and nephews; his longtime friend and deer hunting partner, Don Goette; and his beloved dog, Maggie. Proud US Navy Veteran and in 1982, he retired from his career as a Statistician at Burlington Northern Railroad. In 1950, he began building his life legacy -- the log cabin near Bovey, Minnesota. From clearing the land to building the cabin, Harold created a peaceful place to deer hunt, fish on quiet Upper Balsam Lake, and establish a place for his entire family to go and enjoy time together for the past 70 years. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of Saint Pascal Baylon with interment at Union Cemetery in Maplewood. Memorials are preferred to donor’s choice.
