Harold Allen Hopper
April 28th, 1935 - October 11th, 2018
Harold A Hopper April 28th 1935 to October 11th 2018 With much love and sadness the Hopper Family lost their patriarch. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, and inspirational father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Harold was born to Mark and Frances Hopper in Adams, Nebraska and was the oldest of 5 siblings (Beverly, Marilyn, Charlotte, and Tom). After high school Harold enlist in the U.S. Army servicing the Counter Intelligence Corp, primarily in Berlin, Germany. Upon his return, Harold attended Grays Harbor Junior College, married his wife Carolee in 1956 and moved to Seattle, Washington shortly after. In Seattle he completed his Business/Accounting Degree at the University of Washington and quickly passes his CPA exam. After working with the firm 13 years Harold then became a partner at Deloitte & Touche where he started their consulting practice. After his early retirement at age 50, Harold opened his own consulting firm and assisted his children in their business start-ups. Harold and Carolee created a large close-knit family including 7 children (Duane, Cindy, Dale, Susan, Daren, Lisa & Maria), 19 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He was very active in community, church, and business activities. Harold loved to play golf, card games, and travel—especially road trips with his wife. Harold had a genuine and positive personality that lit up any room. He led by example and left his legacy within each of his family and friends. Harold lived fully until his passing and was active in his family businesses. He was surrounded by his family and his faith. Harold will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
