Harold Lee Lancaster
July 19th, 1935 - February 2nd, 2016
Lexington, KY Harold Lee Lancaster, 80, died Feb. 2, 2016. He is survived by his wife Loretta (Stidham) Lancaster; daughters Debbie (Clifford) Hisle of Winchester, KY and Pamela (Adam) Matney of Lexington; sons Jerry Lancaster of Lawrenceburg, KY, Gary (Kathy) Lancaster of Radcliff, KY, Jimmy (Robin) Hisle of Louisville, KY and Michael (Rubi) Lancaster of Lexington, KY; sisters Colleen Caskey of Amelia, OH; 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Louella (Trogett) Lancaster; sisters Mildred Barnes, Betty Ammerman and Henrietta Brooking and brothers Earl Lancaster, Wilbur Lancaster and Donald Lancaster. Harold was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and member of Liberty Church of God. He was a people person who loved visiting with friends, family and strangers alike. In his youth, he had to reteach himself to walk after a tragic automobile accident. Later he loved to fish, but of late, he enjoyed staying up to date with current events and watching old western movies. Harold was a proud veteran who loved his family dearly. He was one who enjoyed his work; whether at his 31 years at Mary Queen of The Holy Rosary, or greeting at Meijers. Funeral Information There will be a visitation from 5-7 PM, Sun., Feb. 7, 2016. Funeral service will be at 10 AM, Mon., Feb. 8, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, followed by burial at Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 11 AM. www.clarklegacycenter.com.
