Harold "Pete" Mullendore
February 7th, 1922 - March 17th, 2011
Mullendore, Harold "Pete" 89, of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011. Born in Blount County, TN. He was the Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court from 1964 - 1981. He served as director of The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross in Clearwater. He was a former member of the St. Pete Jaycees, The Exchange Club, Board of Realtors, VFW, was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner, Past President of Exchange Club, Past President of the National Association of Clerk and Recorders, and Chairman of the Pinellas County United Fund Drive in 1976. The Clearwater Bar Association awarded him the Liberty Bell Award in 1976. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte Anne Perkinson Mullendore. Survivors include his two daughters, Karen Mullendore and Laura Daniel and husband Marty; one granddaughter, Katherine Daniel of Miami, FL; nephew, Dr. Dennis Perkinson and wife Anna of College Station, TX; and dear friend, Bonnie Rohrbaugh of St. Petersburg. A memorial service will be held on Sat., March 26th at 2pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Petersburg, 719 Arlington Ave. N. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Suncoast Hospice.
