Harold Sexton

Harold "Gabby" Junior Sexton, 69, of Weber City, passed away unexpectedly (Tuesday January 5th, 2016) at his home. He was born January 15th, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. He worked hard over the years in various jobs, from construction, to farming, to auto mechanics. He was a jack of all trades. Harold could make you laugh because he was constantly joking. Whatever you needed, he gave to help. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolphus and Nervy Sexton; sister, Jackie Freeman and brother, Patton Sexton. He is survived by the love of his life for 17 years, Betty Dean; two daughters, Katie Ellen Reed, Leona Marie Sexton and son, Bo Elvis Sexton and wife Amy; Also, Jennifer Gillenwater and husband Wayne, Nancy Adams and Jackie Sykes and husband Adam, whom he considered to be as his children as well. He had several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Willie Sexton, Jimmy Sexton and Roger Sexton; two sisters, Dorothy Morton and Nellie Richardson; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7pm Friday (January 8th, 2015) at Scott County Funeral Home. A service will follow at 7pm where his brother, Pastor Willie Sexton will speak along with contributions from other members of the family.
