Harold D. Sloat
October 20th, 1936 - June 16th, 2011
We have lost a beloved husband, father and friend. Words will never express what you have meant to us. You came into our lives and brought us joy. You were there and took care of us through good times and bad. You never judged, always helped. You will live on in our lives forever. You will be the sun shining on our faces, the greens of a golf course, the smell of pipe tobacco. We will never forget our P-Pop. Sloat, Harold D. 74, of St. Petersburg, is survived by his wife, Margaret "Maggie"; her children, Richard Trinque (wife Vikki, children Michael, Jennifer, Jessica & Jonathan); Stephen Trinque (wife Tricia); Michelle Farren (husband Tony, children Andrew & Sarah); Harold's son, Brian Sloat (wife Lori, daughter Morgan) and daughters, Michelle Sloat & Cindy Sloat; sister, Janet Arents and brother Butch Sloat, plus many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please send any donations to Woodside Hospice, Pinellas Park. A celebration of Harold's life will be held at a later date. The family welcomes and encourages your thoughts and stories here on this website.
