Harriet Hamilton Solomon was born May 15, 1937 to Harry and Leila Hamilton in Eugene. She died September 14, 2022. Harriet graduated in 1955 from Eugene High School and went on to Oregon State University and earned a degree in Business Education. She was affiliated with Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. After OSU she became a business teacher in Astoria, Grants Pass, Oakridge and Lane Community College. Harriet is survived by sister Billie Rupprecht, brother Jack Hamilton and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved her dogs, cooking and baking, books, crosswords and was an avid gardener, Contributions in her name could be made to Greenhill Humane Society.
