Reflection of Harvey’s Life Harvey Vermont Hedman Jr. was born Dec 1, 1971, in Seattle, Washington to Diane Mary Poirier and Harvey Vermont Hedman Sr. Harvey leaves behind to celebrate his life and cherish his memory: his parents, son, James Hedman of Seattle, Washington; step children: Brian Kellerhals, of Tacoma, Washington, Shayela Bateman of Tacoma, Washington and Ashley Hell of Seattle, Washington, Lifetime Soul mate, Melanie Bateman of Tacoma, Washington. Brothers: David Romano of Kent, Washington, Giovanni Hedman of Lake Stevens, Washington and sisters: Alesha Rodgers of Seattle, Washington and Jasmine Hedman of Mt. Vernon, Washington Sister-in-law Shelly Hunter of Tacoma Washington. Harvey had several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Harvey grew up his elementary years on Beacon Hill of Seattle, Washington. He later moved to West Seattle and resided there until his 20’s. He attended West Seattle High School. Harvey moved his family to Tacoma about 7 years ago. Harvey had multiple jobs starting at McDonald’s, Harborview Medical Center, Dressel Collins Fish Co, Ocean Beauty, a fishing boat in Alaska, worked with his lifetime best friend, Jason Fitzpatrick, and finally was self employed. Harvey enjoyed traveling. He’s travelled to Canada, Florida, California, Nevada and Hawaii. He enjoyed family trips. Harvey was dedicated to his family. His life was cut short but he lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed going to Emerald’s Casinos and to BJ Bingo in Fife, Washington. Harvey loved and was loved by the Native American community. Although, Harvey’s departure has left a void among family and friends, we can share in the thought that we will all be together, once again, after the resurrection on the last day. Harvey will be missed by all. Services will be held on Saturday, Feb 23, 2013. Location: Edwards Memorial Center, Lakeview Chapel 4606 108th St SW Lakewood, WA 98499 1st viewing: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Funeral Ceremony 2:00 – 3:00 PM Reception to following at same location.
