Heather Renee Goodin

Heather Renee (Disch) Goodin, 36, was born January 17, 1977 to Gary and Deborah Disch in Puyallup, Wa. She passed away due to unexpected lung and heart complications on July 14, 2013 in her hometown of Eatonville, Wa. She and the love of her life, Joshua Goodin, were married on December 12, 1999 and welcomed their only child, Alicia, into their family on April 14, 2001. Heather is survived by her husband Josh, daughter Alicia, mother Deborah Layeux and step-father Mark Layeux ("Uncle Dad"), father Gary Disch and step-mother Sheri Disch, and siblings, Michelle Reddy, Shaun Disch, Jeff Disch, Julie Sumerall, Jamie Disch and Ashley Disch. Heather enjoyed singing, visiting with family, being around children-especially her nieces and nephews, cooking, red vines, playing cribbage and hugs. She also liked giving shoulder rubs, playing softball, movie nights with Joshua and Alicia, and moving to new places-her father helped her move 19 times! Her compassion, encompassing love and amazing laugh will forever be remembered, treasured and missed. A memorial service in Heather's honor will be held Saturday July 27, 2013 at 12:00 pm at the Eatonville Baptist Church, 825 Eatonville Hwy S, Eatonville, WA. A Celebration of Life at the church will immediately follow.
