Obituary Heidemarie A. Roehrich May 23, 1942 August 26, 2015 Heidemarie Roehrich was born on May 23, 1942 in Rodach, Germany to Anna and Karl Thauer. She became a U.S. Citizen in Denver, Colorado on May 1, 1985. On October 3, 1962, she married Richard "Dick" Roehrich at Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Rodach, Germany. They lived in Coburg, Germany (a neighboring town of Rodach) where Dick was stationed in the US Army until June 1964. Dick was transferred to Ft. Hood, Texas, where Heide had her first child, Denise. In June 1965 the family was transferred to Monterey, California. Upon completion of a Polish Language course, the family was transferred to Oberursel, Germany. Heides second child, Daniel, was born during this time in Frankfurt, Germany. Dick received orders to Vietnam, and during his absence Heide and the children moved to Rodach to live with her parents. Dick returned in July 1969 and was stationed in Coburg, Germany as an officer-in-charge. Their third child, Andy, was born in 1972. In 1977 the family was moved back to the United States, with Dick serving at Fort Carson, Colorado. Heide had her 4th child, Steven, in Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 7, 1978. Dicks final orders were to Munich, Germany in 1985. The family spent 3 years in Munich and Dick was retired in 1988 and settled in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Heide was a loving wife and mother. She was always cheerful, and was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. When she was 73, she became ill and was hospitalized. She went peacefully to the Lord three weeks later with her husband and all four children at her side. She is survived by her husband, her four children and spouses, and her three grandchildren.
