Helen Eva (Dugas) Clendenin

Helen Eva (Dugas) Clendenin Helen Clendenin, age 74, of Northglenn, CO passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of Monday, December 5th, 2022 while in the loving care of her husband Stephen Clendenin and her cherished dog Lucy. Helen was born on December 21,1947 in Woonsocket, RI to loving parents Normand and Jeannette (Dufresne) Dugas. Helen was the oldest of three girls and is survived by her sisters Nancy (Dugas) Doire and Joyce (Dugas) O’Brien. Helen graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1964 and also held an Associates Degree of Arts from Dean College. Always happiest in Colorado, Helen loved the mountains, her trips “up the hill” where lady luck always seemed to shine upon her, and bragging about her children and grandchildren to anyone who would listen. Helen is survived by her children, Paul Decelles and wife Jennifer of North Smithfield, RI, Debra Matthy and husband David of Franklin, MA, and step-children April Clendenin and partner Pam Wagner of Venice, FL, and Brian Clendenin and wife Rowan of Pearland, TX. Helen was a proud ‘Memere’ to 9 grandchildren, Hannah, Justin, Pat, Bryan, Nicholas, Talia, Christian, Logan, and Gavin. A Celebration of Life is planned for the spring. It will be held on Saturday, April 15th at 11:30am at the Calvary Community Church (11980 Irma Dr, Northglenn, CO).
