Helen Lucille Flyingcloud

Helen, whos known to those close to her as Lucy, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2016 in Seattle, Washington.Helen was born on September 16, 1920 in Bluffton, Missouri to parents Joseph and Alberta Moore. She was the oldest of thirteen children and grew up in Bluffton helping in the care of her younger siblings. She worked for many years at Boeing Aircraft before marrying her husband Alphonzo Flyingcloud. Alphonzo and Lucy were married for many years, of which she devoted her to being a loving and caring wife and mother.Lucy lived a long, fruitful and rewarding life. She is survived by her son, Alphonzo Flying Cloud (wife, Sandra); her daughter, Maria Flyingcloud; her grandchildren: Any, Chelsea, Michaela, and Alphonzo; and her great grandchildren: Thunder, Kimi Mila, Jett, Tika, and Isla; and her siblings: Don, Coleen, Larry, Betty and Gloria [Sue]. She was preceded in death by 7 of siblings: Joseph, Leland, Landon, Mary, Peggy, Bloria and Bonnie. Lucy was kind, honest and always enjoyed a good laugh. She had a love of plants and flowers and a green thumb that could bring almost any plant back to life. When she wasnt watching sports on the television, Lucy was reading scriptures from the Daily Word book she received every month. She was always able to fine peace and solace in the scriptures. If Lucy was still here with us, Im sure she would tell her family members and friends to not cry or feel sad as her journey through life was long and fulfilling. She would tell them to cherish every memory as she has cherished every one of them in her heart. Lucy will be for every love, and missed dearly.
