Helen Grace Graham, 91, of Boise died peacefully on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. A memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 811 S Latah St., Boise, on March 21, 2022. Family will start welcoming guests at 10:30 a.m., with the services beginning at 11 a.m., with arraignments made by Summers Funeral Home. Born to Joseph and Catherine Butala on April 28, 1930, Helen attended grade school and high school in Butte Montana, graduating in 1948. After graduation she took a job at Western Union in Denver, Colorado, where she met Peter Rotolo and was married on March 23, 1951. That union blessed them with two daughters. She later married Donald Graham on October 1, 1955, in Billings Montana. That union blessed them with 3 additional children. During the course of their life, Helen was employed in several different fields. In 1979, they moved to Idaho and operated a movie theatre in Mountain Home for several years. Later they moved to Boise, where she was employed by the State of Idaho, Child Support Division. She retired in 1997 and continued life long friendships with her coworkers. Her interests included travel and she took multiple international trips. She was a woman of strong faith and loved her church family. Helen was also a great cook, loved to read, and kept a daily journal. And let’s not forget her love of wine and a good ‘ol shot of blackberry brandy! Helen is survived by daughter Debbie (Tom) Otis of Billings Montana, Gail (Rodney) Lewis of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Karen Graham of Boise, Idaho, and Rhonda Frost of Nampa, Idaho; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Helen is also survived by sisters Cathy Howard and Rosemarie Childs, numerous nieces and nephews, and many special friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Ann, brothers Joe and Jimmy, her husband Don, and son Donn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Sacred Heart Church. We will remember her most for her love of God, elegant nature, unending beauty and sense of adventure. Mom - You will always be missed and well loved.
