Helen L Jordan, 72, died June 4, 2021, in Lexington, SC with her family by her side. Helen was born November 8, 1948, on the family farm in Swansea, SC to Lonnie and Girlie Mae Lawson. Her father was a farmer and her mother a seamstress, both devout Baptists of Swansea Baptist Church. She was married to Victor Jordan, and they had two children together that were her pride and joy. She graduated from Swansea High School and was an active member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. She retired from Allied Signal (Honeywell) and enjoyed shagging, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends and loved her Clemson Tigers. Helen is survived by her son and daughter and their significant others, Britt Jordan and fiancé, Dixie Deering and Vickie Jordan Dartez and spouse, Jamie Dartez and her sister Janice Lawson Bullock. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and brothers,; Delano, Denzel and Richard Lawson. A memorial service to honor Helen will be held at 11:00 am on July 17, 2021, at Riverland Hills Baptist Church, 201 Lake Murray Blvd., Irmo, SC 29063. The family will receive visitors after the memorial.
