Helen Delaine Perry Bamberg

Mrs. Helen Delaine Perry Bamberg, age 89, a resident of Winter Haven, Florida went to Heaven on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale surrounded by her family. Mrs. Bamberg was born September 2, 1934 in Jasper, Alabama to Troy and Fannie (Nix) Greene. She was a Polk County resident since the 1950’s coming from Muscle Sholes, Alabama. Helen was a homemaker, Hairdresser and a member of Newberry Church in Winter Haven. She enjoyed flowers, watching birds and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years – Gene Anderson Bamberg (Feb. 2024); granddaughter – Mindy Perry; brothers & sisters. Helen is survived by her loving & devoted family, 3 sons – Mike (Robin) Perry of Mulberry, Florida, Tommy (Lisa) Bamberg of Auburndale, Florida & Tony Bamberg of Tennessee; 2 daughters – Patricia Bamberg of Winter Haven, Florida & Susan Meyer of  Georgia; brother – JW (Mickey) Greene of Alabama; 16 grandchildren – Samantha Fewox, Jessica Johnson, Mikayla (Matt) White, Andy (Jennifer) Bamberg, Troy (Ashley) Bonine, Lonnie (Samantha) Bamberg, Meagan Bamberg, Nathan (Fay) Bamberg, Melanie Bamberg, Daniel Bamberg, Tony Bamberg, Briana Bamberg, Amanda Smith, Joshua (Rebecca) Meyer, John (Amanda) Meyer, Jr. & Chris Elledge; 30 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews & cousins. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday, May 20th at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 West Derby Avenue.
