The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eugene for Helen Richardson of Eugene, who died July 8 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was 88.She was born Nov. 2, 1921, in Mercer, N.D., to Christ and Maria Wagner Kleingartner. She married Milton Richardson on Nov. 15, 1945, in Atlantic City, N.J. He died Dec. 14, 2008.She was a retail clerk for 30 years, including at the Drug Center, The Broadway and Baker’s Pharmacy.Survivors include a son, Don of Pleasant Hill; a daughter, Jean Phifer of Junction City; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Association.
