Helen ShearerHelen J. Shearer of Eugene died March 14 of age-related causes. She was 98. No service is planned.She was born July 23, 1913, in Superior, Wis., to John and Clair Sargent Roe. She married Charles Franklin Shearer on Aug. 1, 1936, in Minneapolis, Minn. He died Aug. 24, 1984.She was a high school graduate and a homemaker.Survivors include two sons, Richard of Honolulu and Robert of Bronxville, N.Y.; two daughters, Lynne Shearer Treble of Corlette, New South Wales, Australia, and Kay Shearer Fors of Athens, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
