"Palmer, Helen E. (Devanski) Zisk, 80, of Riverview Parkway, died peacefully Tuesday, April 17 at Palmer House Healthcare. Born in Warren, March 5, 1932, she was the daughter of John and Julia (Niejadlik) Devanski. She grew up in West Warren, and moved to Palmer in 1955. Helen worked at William E. Proud of her Polish heritage, she also enjoyed a good polka. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 58 years, Chester J. Zisk, and her daughter Kathleen E. Zerra and her husband James M. of Somers, Ct. The last of 8 children, she leaves a very special sister in law, Stella Devanski of W. Warren along with many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be Thursday, April 19 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian burial at 10:30 at St. Thomas Church. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made in her memory to Wing Hospice, 42B Wright St., Palmer, or Palmer Healthcare Family Council, 250 Shearer St., Palmer. "
