Helmut Johannes Wyzisk

WYZISK, SR. Helmut Johannes 86 of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was born in Rosengrund, Germany and moved to Culpepper, Virginia as a young adult and in 1984 Helmut and his wife, Janet moved to Florida. Helmut served as a Fighter Pilot in the United States Army Air Corps and then in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and Korea. He played and coached soccer throughout his life. Helmut was a loyal fan of FC Bayern Munich Soccer, Formula 1 Racing, the Green Bay Packers and the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, crossword puzzles, and reading the newspaper comics. Helmut’s favorite love was his family and his dog, Porter. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Janet; son, Helmut Johannes Wyzisk Jr.; grandson, Helmut Johannes Wyzisk III and his wife, Amanda; great-granddaughter, Hayden Wyzisk; brothers, Heinz Wyzisk and Walter Wyzisk; sisters, Irmgard Spies, Elizabeth Keller and Gerda Duran. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Loyless Funeral Homes at 10:00 A.M. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will immediately follow at Florida National Cemetery.
