Henry “Hank” Govert of Olympia, Washington and Lake County, Indiana died in Olympia on July 20, 2016. He was 80 years old. Hank was born on December 10, 1935 in Hammond, Indiana. The majority of his professional life was spent as an employee assistant specialist in North Carolina and Washington states. His last years of service were with the Employee Assistance Program of Washington State. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Rebecca (Basnight) Govert; his parents, Raymond and Helen (Liesenfelt) Govert; brother, Mark Govert; and sister, Lea Govert. Henry is survived by his sisters, Sr. Mary Evelyn Govert of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Claudia Govert of St. John, Adele (Dean Morgan) Govert of Port Ludlow, Washington, and Kathy (Don) Schmidt of Oak Forest, Illinois. Hank is remembered as a loving and caring gentleman, with a strong commitment for helping others. Please leave memories of Hank or condolences for his family in the Guestbook below.
