Henry L. Pelletier
July 15th, 1915 - October 29th, 2006
"October 29, Brimfield- Henry L. Pelletier, 91, of Maple Court in Meadowbrook Acres, passed away 2006 at home. Born in Springfield, MA on July 15, 1915, he was the son of the late Napoleon and Olivene (Beaudry) Pelletier. Henry has lived in Brimfield since 1920 and as a boy attended Hitchcock Academy. He then went on to serve his country during WWII in the US Army Airforce. Henry retired from Van Normans in Springfield in 1980 and was a member of the American Legion Post 263. He was a very active resident of Brimfield serving as a commissioner at Brimfield Cemetery, an agent for the Board of Health, a tree warden for over 20 years and was also a part of the Conservation Commission. Henry was proud to be part of Brimfield and was very knowledgeable of the history and layout of the town. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Theresa (Paolucci), along with his three children Henry Jr. and his wife Patricia of Brimfield, Beatrice Leveille of Sturbridge and Olivene Gross of Brimfield along with six grandchildren, Marc Pelletier, Laura Guddat, David Drane, Kimberly Madey, Justin and Mandy Leveille and three great grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Madey and Samantha Leveille. Henry was predeceased by his sister Irene Stevens. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Church and burial in Brimfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. "
