Herbert B. Freeman, 57, of Clover SC, formerly of Charlotte, died January 1, 2014, at CMC-Pineville. He was born in Flint, MI, son of Earl D. Freeman and the late Frances R. Freeman. In addition to his father he is survived by his wife, Ida H. Freeman; daughters, April Freeman-Nestle, Blair Freeman, and Elizabeth Payne; grandchildren, Mary Nestle, Devlin Freeman, David Taylor, Cameron Payne, Ben Payne, and Jake Payne, and brothers, David, Robert, Doug, Bradford, and Tony Freeman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances R. Freeman. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00pm Friday, January 3, 2014, at J.B. Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 Sharon Amity Rd, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway Suite 2700, New York, NY. 1/3/2014 01:00 PM Celebration of Life J.B.
